My HP Laser Jet P1102W printer does not print pdf files. Everytime I click print it asks me to save the file again, but it saves as "all files" and it doesn't print. Is there a way to fix this?

You can find a solution to this issue here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02205132&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_us/c02205132/loc:10&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=4110396

This solve the problem of duplicated copies of the same print job.

Thanks HP :)
I can print via USB but only if I pause and restart the printer, then it always prints two copies :(
At the moment I've reset it to 0.0.0.0 but cannot get it to enable wireless with the flashing blue light for some reason.

HP Customer Care http://welcome.hp.com/country/uk/en/support.html

Dear Tom,

Thank you for contacting HP Customer Care.

I gather that when trying to print from your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer it prints duplicate pages, and only starts after pressing pause/start and also after trying to reset wireless but it remains on 0.0.0.0 and it has lost its old address. Connection to ad hoc also fails.

I am glad to assist you.

Cause:

* This issue would be causing because of the inproper setup of the printer or the print drivers.

Solution: I would request you to please follow the below steps which will help in printing the network configuration test page and also please get back to us with the network configuration test page to check what the best can be done and also I would request you to please get back with the below asked details.

Printing Network Configuration Page:

Make sure that the Ready light ( ) is on and that the product is idle and silent.
Press and hold the Cancel button ( ), and release it when the Ready light ( ) begins blinking.
The Configuration page prints.
Other Details:

1. Does the printer prints when connected with USB Cable?

2. How is the printer connected?

Made the mistake of installing this. It has proved almost impossible to remove and the removal did so much damage that the only way to get my PC into a decent state was a reinstallation.

"Hadn’t really noticed, it all looks pretty bad to me a lot of the time."
This is stupid and obtuse. You know differently.

"I was under the impression streaming HTTP was already used in iPhone but could be wrong."
'I could be wrong' isn't much of a rebuttal.

"Name me a single user who wants “copy protection” or a “copy protection” that actually works."
Every user who watches Hulu or Netflix streaming is enjoying a copy protection that works, because the content providers trust it enough to put their content online with it.

"rudimentary support for fullscreen HTML5 video"
Two browsers offering rudimentary support is no rebuttal.

"Hardly a mainstream requirement"
It's a Youtube requirement. He's talking about Youtube's requirements.
